Community Volunteers

JJ & Leo Kissinger, Andrew, Aiden, & Peter Barfoot

For years, Andrew and JJ have shared great memories as friends working together to serve families who have a seriously ill child, including many families who have lived at Seattle's Ronald McDonald House.

JJ is the founder and Executive Director of The Light Collective, a Seattle-based non-profit whose mission is to create a community where families who have a child with cancer can build resilience and share delight. His son, Leo (7), is a first grader. Not pictured, because she's taking the pictures, is his daughter Jane (11).

Andrew works as a Financial Advisor here in Seattle, and is proud to join his boys, Aiden (7) and Peter (5), each year in supporting their favorite neighbors – the families of the "Ron Don."

This is the 9th year this team has participated, with the boys participating every year since they were born. They are excited that next year the team will grow by one, as Andrew and his wife are expecting their next kilt donning son in late-July.
